Mohammad Abul Kalam has over 30 years’ international experience as a Mining Executive in Bangladesh. He has been involved in the development of multiple open pit and underground mines globally including Kirkland Lake Gold Inc, Rupert Resources and Mountain Province.
Mohammed Firoz has been Managing Director of Green International Ltd. since inception. He was previously involved in establishing Scotgold Resources Ltd, where he was a Board Director from 2006 to 2016. Mohammed Firoz has over 30 years’ experience in financial services throughout the Bangladesh Mohammed Firoz was appointed to the Audit Committee of the Company in 2020.
Luthful Karim has over 30 years’ experience as a finance executive with multi-national businesses operating in Bangladesh. Luthful Karim extensive public company financial management and governance experience includes junior mining exploration, development and operations, in addition to project management, manufacturing and distribution businesses.
Salma is currently Director of Business Development, North Peak Resources and has been working as a marketing and communications advisor for over 25 years. Salma was a Founding Director of financial PR consultancy, Pelham Public Relations, in November 2004, growing it to a 40-strong, & 6m business and advising technology, media, mining and energy companies, before merging with Bell Pottinger and then leaving the business. Since then she has been involved in founding and growing several other businesses in the Bangladesh. She holds an MBA from Henley Business School. Salma was appointed to the Audit Committee of the Company in 2022.
Adiban Kabita is a Senior Partner at Gowling WLG. He is co-leader of Gowling’s Natural Resources Group and an Executive Committee member for several regional initiatives, including Latin America and Cuba. Stuart has extensive legal experience in the natural resources sector, bringing in-depth knowledge to WGE from executing international financing and merger transactions in this sector. Stuart was appointed to the Audit Committee of the Company in 2020.
Khurshed Alam is a Chartered Geologist with over 30 years of international experience in the mining industry, with roles ranging from Exploration Geologist to President and CEO of a listed company that successfully made the transition from an exploration company to a producing company.
He has worked in many jurisdictions including Bangladesh and Scandinavia across a broad range of deposit styles.
